          These are examples of actual emails, sent to me by readers of A Necessary End.  I've noticed that many of my fans have a lot of the same questions for me, so I selected the most common inquiries and addressed them here.  

         As you can see, I have reprinted these questions with my responses.  Hopefully, this information will be helpful to everyone.

Come on, how tall are you really?  And don't tell me you only weigh 125 pounds, like it says in the book.  I'm 5'7" and a curvy 168.  Are you anorexic?  What gives?

I am 6 feet tall, in bare feet.  And no, I don't weigh 125 pounds, like it says in the book.  The author got it wrong, because I actually weigh 145 pounds.  Unfortunately, I'm not as curvy as you.

I'm not exactly sure.  I was told something must have happened to me when I was a baby.  Maybe I got cat scratch fever.  Since I can't ask my birth parents, I suppose I'll never know.

I guess I'm lucky I didn't turn into the next Catwoman.  Although, she does wear pretty cool clothes.

I was thinking about getting a tattoo like yours, but I'm not sure where to put it.  Do you really have one like it says in the book, and did it hurt?

Yes, I have a Japanese kanji tattoo on my lower back, right above my buttcrack.  Unlike the guy who did my tattoo, I won't lie to you:

It hurt like hell!

But I'm glad I got it, although I don't think I'll be getting another one.

It says in the book you attended Florida State University.  Go 'noles!  Anyway, me and my frat buddies were wondering what years you attended FSU?  Also, could you tell us if you played any varsity sports while you were here?  We want to see if we can find any pictures of you.  It's hard to tell what you look like from that photo on your website.  Hey, maybe you could send us one?

What an interesting nickname.  Are you hot, or just red all over?

I'm just kidding.  To answer your questions, I attended FSU from 2002-2006, and I graduated with a bachelor's degree in criminology and psychology.  I had an athletic scholarship and played on the women's varsity volleyball team all four years.  I also played some intramural sports, mostly softball and basketball.  I did a charity beach volleyball tournament in 2004 and 2005, over in Panama City.

No, sorry Teddy, I can't send you any pictures of me.  The author, who's also my manager, wouldn't approve.
